What we do
Plush And Play is a social enterprise born inside the Gawad Kalinga – Enchanted Farm. It highlights the undervalued sewing skills of the women living in Gawad Kalinga communities to make hand-stitched soft and lovely stuffed toys and felt items.
When playing rhymes with nation-building
With a first line of veggie-themed stuffed toys carrying names like Manny Pakwan, Jessica Saging or Pan Talong, Plush and Play delights the young and old alike while providing a sustainable livelihood for families in the countryside.
Protect our children
We use hypoallergenic material and avoid plastic parts that can be swallowed by children. Safety is one of our main priorities.
Love our country
We proudly name our stuffed toys after Filipino icons that embody good filipino values and the best of Philippine culture.
Uplift the lives of the poor
We aim at empowering our community partners by providing convenient working conditions to help them grow as responsible leaders and creative artisans.
Share this wonderful gift to others
These cute and huggable plushies are hand-stitched and made by the nanays with lots of love. Let’s spread the love and the Gawad Kalinga way of caring and sharing to the entire planet.
Honor locally made products
These products showcase the creative genius of the poor and excellent skills of artisans. Let’s inspire more people to continue to support products made by Filipinos.
We believe that every child has a right to play and that play empowers children to love learning. These plushies encourage imaginative play and role playing to stimulate childrens’ imagination.
