Antonio Repolyo is Plush and Play’s version of a wise cabbage or repolyo in Filipino. This character was named after Gawad Challenge’s founder, Antonio “Tony” Meloto. Tito Tony, as people would call him, is considered a father in Gawad Kalinga (GK) communities. He shares his passion for social change and community development, and gives sound advice about life in general to whoever needs it.
Just like his namesake, Antonio Repolyo is the Enchanted Farm barkada’s wise adviser. He is a strong leader that values the opinions and knowledge of the people around him, and is still open for new and innovative ideas. He enjoys listening to his friend’s stories, sharing his own, and making valuable and meaningful conversations in the community.

The community of seamstresses at GK Enchanted Farm are able to incorporate similar features of Tito Tony in Antonio Repolyo, including his white hair and eye glasses. The plush toy is in full green crystal velboa fabric for the body and filled with polyester fiberfill class A to get the plump shape and fluffiness we love in plush toys. The details are made of felt and hand stitched carefully by the seamstresses.
